Summertime Sadness
Hello there! It seems as though summer is slowly, but surely coming to a close. Brings that summertime sadness! I had an amazing summer working two jobs and taking summer courses. (Lots of fun...) I really haven't had my vacation yet, but I am headed to Southern California very soon to take a break before schools starts again. I might have not had the most AMAZING summer, but hands down it was one of the best decisions I have done in my life. I grew to be much more independent this summer by working everyday and paying my own food, rent, and necessities! I missed the luxuries of home, but I guess one has to look at the better things in life. I had an internship at a financial advising firm that required me to go up to different people and ask about their finances and career success, which made me a more confident person overall. I spoke to people from all sorts of backgrounds! I had my down moments too..... As crazy ,but kind of funny as it sounds I passed out in the college gym. Wow that was a BUST! Pretty embarrassing, but I got over it... One incident isn't going to stop me from being myself. Oh well.... I guess it happens...... I have learned to value many things that people take for granted. Whether it be freedom or health, being safe in my country and home. While I sip on my coffee here typing up this blog, many all over the world are simple asking for clean water, sanitary conditions, a comfortable bed for sleep. I take it for granted time to time, but this summer I had the opportunity to talk to students from different parts of the world thus changing my perspective. What are you grateful for? Have you thought of it recently? That computer, smartphone, or tablet you read from? Worth maybe 100, 200, 1000 dollars? It's acceptable in our society, but what can that money do? Save a life. Let me know your thoughts if you have any! I don't have many readers, but you never know!

Frustration.
How I deal with frustration.
Another day at work with heavy amounts of workload and no breaks in between. Mornings are rushed, lunch is a drag, and dinner time seems to be a recap of what needs to be done the next day. Goodness. I bet everyone gets frustrated once and awhile. Everyone has a different way dealing with frustration and my way is probably a common way to ease frustration. Usually under stressful situations I tend to seek for something peaceful and enjoyable to do such as listening to music, exercise, and having a nice cup of tea. Mediation is a great way to relieve stress, but don't get caught up in thinking about errands. Breathing deeply is also a very common way to relieve stress, people can use this technique anywhere. I'm always tempted to just yell out and relieve my frustration, but I don't people to think I am some maniac! You know I also find that walking is a nice way to just breathe fresh air and gather thoughts in a good way. Find nice scenery in your area, whether it be your local park or your backyard, find your place of peace. I know it may be difficult to find a nice spot outside during the winter time, but find something that suits to you. Try the library if it is too cold outside. People read the newspaper in the bathroom and well maybe that is their peace zone. Tell me how you relieve your stress and what is your favorite spot to relax.

The piano.
Learning how to play the piano the first time!
So today I got to play the piano for the first time! It was great! The music to my ear was just so soothing and relaxing. I heard my friend play a song or two and immediately wanted to play like she did, but that is not possible! I started playing a few keys then I began to hear a rhythmic sound. BEST THING EVER!!!!!!! I wanted to learn how to play some type of musical instrument during the year 2013 and I am starting to think its going to be the piano or the guitar. I believe everyone should have a shot at a musical instrument as a type of therapy! Music is Life! I am practicing to play a cover of Coldplays "Clocks" by the end of my college semester! Hopefully I can accomplish this!
So far I have about 50 seconds of the cover done! Hopefully I can continue! What do you play?

Coffee in your life?
How to start a productive day.
Well waking up to a bruise I didn't have before this morning was quite strange, but I guess it makes sense when you go sledding at 2 a.m. and hit a rock at the end of the hill. I didn't feel much then, but the next day. BAM! I was feeling a bit groggy and angry. Well why? Of course I hadn't taken my cup of coffee in the morning, which resulted in a grumpy me. Well I know I am definitely not the only one out there that has some type of addiction to caffeine. I had read articles on how to get rid of this addiction, because even though I may not notice the effects of caffeine, it really just gives an unexpected hit in the morning. I read about many ways to get rid of the addiction, but they all seem to common. Exercise, more sleep, blah blah blah. Whatever. I bet these are ways to get rid of the addiction, but I mean who can resist that warm creamy taste of freshly brewed coffee. I love my iced coffee in summer days or my hot macchiato during winter. Time for that coffee to start my productive day. Well let me know your thoughts on coffee and how you make your cup of coffee. My coffee is pretty plain and simple, but what about yours? Rumor has it Coffee is bad for you, but I love it either way! #TEAMCOFFEE

Here comes the snow again, falling from the sky......
Snow! Time to get those boots out again!
Well it has been snowing a good amount here in the Midwest. I expected more snow with all the hype about a winter storm, but it was enough to get that feel for winter once again. I had to look for my pair of Doc Martens to walk around in the snow. Off topic but Docs are really comfortable and some are actually made in the U.K. recommend them! Well anyways people are always surprised when I express my joy for snow. Coming from California I feel snow is an amazing and fun time! Sledding! Snow is a symbol of peace and tranquility, falling slowly like feathers from the sky. The time when one can go to the local coffee shop buy a warm drink and catch up on a tv series. If ANYONE out there has some good ideas let me know your thoughts and leave a comment! Share, comment, whatever floats your boat. Sledding!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the snow while it lasts.

Believing yourself.
Believe in yourself.
Okay. So I haven't posted in awhile and I wanted to start my blog by talking about things people may ask themselves in the everyday life. Why am I here? What do I do? Are you every having the blues or just feel so sorry for yourself? Well STOP IT! Think positive. I bet your thinking "That's easy for you to say" Well no! I believe everyone has a purpose in life and if your ever feeling like your life is coming to an end well think again. Someone out there probably has it 100 times worse than you do. I say forget the nonsense! GO FOR WHAT YOU WANT! NOBODY IS STOPPING YOU! "Well I really wanted to do this, but?" No! Do what you want to do! It could be you want a better job, better social life, or simply a talent you haven't even discovered. Hmmm. Why not go for it? Improve by setting goals and not giving up! Reach your MAX limit! Have you reached that point? Have you ever thought of the one person stopping you? Look in the mirror. Seriously this is always the issue with me though. I always say to myself I am going to do something, but never do just because I am standing in the way of my own dreams. Reach out people! Discover what your all about. Take any good opportunities life hands you! Don't be afraid.Don't get washed up by society! Think freely and find what your really all about. Consider making a dream board. A board filled with cool things you have always wanted to accomplish and see it every morning on a board before starting another day in which you can breathe and say "I'm alive and fully healthy".

Lets get started!
Something New.......
Hello to the world! I am very excited to start this new blog and share with the world a bit of my life! Well here is a bit about me! My name is Sarvelio Hernandez (Ya I know my name is freaking weird and Im not to sure where it came from but whatever) everybody calls me Anthony! I was born and raised in Los Angeles,CA, but later moved about 2 hours north to a city called Bakersfield. I go to college in good old Iowa! What?! Why Iowa you may ask? Well one day I decided to try something new and head to the midwest to see what Iowa is all about! Yes there are a lot of farms but people are really nice and it is definitely something different then So.Cal. Obviously I am new to the blogging world and need to fix up my profile ASAP! Well the whole blogging experience is a part of my new years resolution which was to do something that seems fun! I've always wanted to do something like this, but truly I was just lazy and making a blog seemed difficult. I want to change a little something in my life! I also have a new years resolution to find some sort of talent in me! Maybe play an instrument or try something different! I will blog about anything that comes to mind! I am not concentrating on one thing yet since I want to experiment with this blog. I may blog about a trend, life experiences, or simply share my day. I hope to people will enjoy my posts or have something in common with my thoughts! A day ends as the sun sets, a peaceful night, the next day brings a new beginning..... Ya know? Just Chillin! Leave me any of your thoughts and ideas!
